An Invitation Vol. 6

I am really proud of you.

I'm proud of us. I'm proud of our resilience.

We've been in this for almost a whole year now and that is no small feat. We all deserve to be looked in the eyes and told that we are doing our very best at living through something so weird it seems like fiction.

Maybe this year pushed you beyond anything you thought possible.
Maybe this year was a series of lows so low that you didn't think you'd ever resurface.
Maybe this year was exactly what you needed in some ways.
Maybe this year brought unexpected changes that have been for the best.
Maybe this year brought a shift in perspective on how you see work, rest, play, connection.
Maybe you've never been more creative, lonely, in love, anxious, free, scared.
Maybe your relationship has never been better, maybe it's never been worse.
Maybe so much has changed for you that there's just no such thing as going back to how it was.
Maybe this year has held deep pain and abundant joy all at once.

We are all experiencing this in our own ways. However it's looked for you, you deserve to take a moment to reflect and thank yourself for simply being here. Surviving. Paddling through this whitewater rapid of a year.🚣🏾‍♀️

Journal prompt: Write a thank you letter to yourself. Name the specific ways you've been resilient this past year, the lessons you've learned.
